School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Boulder City, Nevada

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Nevada
• School nursing experience strongly preferred
• Proficient in management of G-tubes and care of students with Type 1 diabetes
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
• Flexible, dependable, and comfortable providing coverage on an as-needed basis
• Experience developing and following individualized health plans

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled nursing duties including G-tube care, insulin administration, and monitoring diabetic students
• Implement, track, and update individualized healthcare plans
• Act as a resource for school staff on student health concerns and emergency protocols
• Maintain thorough and accurate health records in accordance with regulations
• Respond effectively and promptly to medical emergencies
• Deliver health education to students and staff as needed
• Foster a supportive, safe, and healthy learning environment for all students
