Preferred Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Massachusetts
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric/teen setting preferred
- Strong assessment, first aid, and triage skills
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, families, and staff
- Solid organizational abilities and confidentiality awareness
- Capacity to respond calmly and efficiently to urgent health situations
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine and emergency health care for high school students
- Maintain health records and document care according to school policies
- Administer medication and manage chronic health conditions per physician orders
- Conduct health screenings and track student immunizations
- Serve as a resource for health education and wellness initiatives
- Liaise with families, community providers, and district staff as needed
