Key Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts

• Familiarity with G-tube care and maintenance
• Competency in administering rescue medications
• Acceptable backgrounds: RN (including Legal Nurse), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), or Certified School Nurse (CSN)
• Strong communication skills and calm demeanor in changing situations
• Ability to provide compassionate, vigilant attention to a single student

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accompanying one student during van transportation to and from school (approximately 45 minutes each way)
• Monitoring and responding to medical needs during transit
• Administering rescue medications and maintaining G-tube if required
• Communicating effectively with parents, drivers, and school personnel
• Documenting care provided and any incidents during transport
• Ensuring compliance with school health policies and protocols
