School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Buffalo, Minnesota

Step into a rewarding nursing role supporting a young adult in a 1:1 school setting near Buffalo, MN. You'll provide skilled nursing care and companionship throughout the school day, including riding the bus from the student’s residence in Becker to Eastview Education Center in Monticello and back. This opportunity allows you to help facilitate the student’s participation in a transition/young adult program, making a meaningful impact each day.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN or LPN license in Minnesota
• Experience in school health, community nursing, or pediatric/young adult care preferred
• Capable of medication administration and maintaining precise nursing records
• Proficiency in monitoring pain and respiratory status
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and daily personal care needs
• Reliable personal transportation for commuting to/from Becker
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver consistent 1:1 clinical care during school hours, community outings (Wednesdays), and bus transit
• Administer medications and meticulously document all healthcare interventions
• Assist with toilet routines, personal hygiene, and daily living needs
• Maintain up-to-date nursing logs and daily care records
• Participate in required in-home training with the student’s caregiver, and attend school orientations
• Coordinate breaks and lunch coverage with classroom staff
• Adhere to backup protocols and procedures for student absences
