School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Buffalo, New York

This full-time contract opportunity involves working 37.5 hours per week, supporting students aged 3 to 18 with their health and wellness needs throughout the academic year. Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Registered Nurse license in New York State required
• Experience providing healthcare services in a pediatric, school, or community setting
• Knowledge of state health requirements and regulations for school-aged youth
• Ability to work independently, manage time, and maintain accurate records
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and chronic condition management
• Conduct health screenings, vision and hearing tests, and maintain up-to-date health records for students
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to develop care plans for students with specific health concerns
• Monitor for infectious illnesses, manage reporting, and promote public health best practices within the school community
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to student health and wellness
