Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain)
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Previous nursing experience, ideally in a pediatric, school, or community setting
- Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
- Understanding of state and federal school health regulations
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct health care to students, including medication administration, first aid, and management of chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma)
- Conduct health screenings and maintain student health records
- Serve as a resource for health education and wellness initiatives
- Collaborate with staff and families to support individualized healthcare plans
- Assist in crisis response and communicable disease control measures
- Promote a positive, inclusive environment for all students
