School Registered Nurse (RN) in Burns, WY

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Previous nursing experience, ideally in a pediatric, school, or community setting
• Strong assessment, triage, and communication skills
• Understanding of state and federal school health regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct health care to students, including medication administration, first aid, and management of chronic conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma)
• Conduct health screenings and maintain student health records
• Serve as a resource for health education and wellness initiatives
• Collaborate with staff and families to support individualized healthcare plans
• Assist in crisis response and communicable disease control measures
• Promote a positive, inclusive environment for all students
