This onsite position calls for a dedicated RN or Licensed School Nurse (LSN) experienced in school nursing, ready to make a positive impact in a dynamic educational community near Burnsville, MN.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Licensed School Nurse (LSN) or RN with previous health room/school nursing experience
• Certified School Nurse (CSN) credentials are valued
• Strong background in developing and implementing Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
• Effective communicator with staff, students, and families
• Experience collaborating with Health Aides and interdisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct hearing and vision screenings as requested
• Develop and monitor IHPs in close partnership with the school Health Aide
• Coordinate medication set-up and ensure accurate administration procedures
• Perform health interviews, review health records, and prepare narrative summaries for special education evaluations
• Lead training sessions for staff on IHP-related procedures, student health needs, and general wellness practices
• Serve as a key resource for consultative communication with families and school staff about student wellness
