An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with specialized expertise in providing one-on-one pediatric care within a school environment. This role involves delivering individualized nursing services to students across a wide range of grade levels, including elementary through high school. The position is contract-based and located in Burnsville, MN.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Experience in one-on-one nursing care, particularly with pediatric patients.
  • Comfort and familiarity working with students ranging from 1st grade through 10th grade.
  • Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized health plans.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers.
  • Understanding of medication administration, emergency care, and chronic condition management in school-aged children.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized nursing care to students requiring one-on-one support.
  • Monitor and manage students’ health conditions during school hours.
  • Implement care plans tailored to each student’s medical needs.
  • Respond promptly to health emergencies and coordinate with appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation on student health status and interventions.
  • Educate school personnel and families about student health needs and proper care protocols.
