School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Cambridge, Massachusetts

A full-time nursing opportunity is available for a licensed RN or LPN to serve as a Classroom Nurse in a K-12 school environment in Cambridge, MA. This contract position spans the 2025-2026 school year, with tentative dates from early September 2025 through November 2026. The role is onsite only, offering a rewarding chance to support student health and well-being in an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health services within a school environment
• Monitor and manage student health concerns, including medication administration and first aid
• Collaborate with school staff and families to develop individualized health plans
• Promote health education and foster a safe, healthy learning environment
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with state and school policies

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts is mandatory
• Experience in school nursing or pediatrics is preferred to address the unique needs of school-aged children
• Strong communication and organizational skills to work effectively with students, parents, and school personnel
• Ability to respond quickly and compassionately in medical situations
