School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Cambridge, Massachusetts

Embark on a meaningful contract opportunity providing dedicated 1:1 nursing care for a 20-year-old student attending school in Concord. This role is perfectly suited for experienced RNs or LPNs passionate about making a difference in a school setting. The position involves accompanying the student during transportation and providing essential care, including being prepared for potential suctioning needs throughout the school day. With an estimated daily commitment of 3.5 to 4 hours, candidates can expect approximately 20 hours per week of guaranteed work.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RN or LPN license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience in school nursing or working with young adults preferred
• Proficiency in airway management, including suctioning procedures
• Confidence in providing 1:1 care and adapting to changing needs
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accompany the student on transportation to and from school
• Monitor the student’s health and respond swiftly to any medical needs
• Perform potential suctioning and airway management with professionalism and care
• Collaborate with school staff and healthcare teams to support a safe, positive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations
