What You'll Bring:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Prior experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations, preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly to different environments and student needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, students, and families
• A calm, organized approach when managing emergencies or multiple priorities
• Willingness to travel between schools within the district as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Float between district schools to provide nursing coverage, working wherever you’re most needed each day
• Deliver direct care, including assessments, administering medications, and managing chronic health conditions
• Attend to urgent medical needs as they arise during the school day
• Potential to support students on a 1:1 basis as assigned, ensuring continuity of care
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with district policies
• Support and educate staff and students on health conditions, medication protocols, and general wellness
• Respond to unforeseen coverage needs for nurse call-outs or special assignments within the district
