School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Cambridge, Massachusetts

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid Massachusetts LPN or RN license required
• Experience in pediatric, school-based, or special needs nursing is strongly preferred
• Comfortable with van riding responsibilities to and from school with students
• Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (Monday–Friday), for the complete school year and summer term
• Positive, collaborative attitude and strong communication skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to build rapport with children and school staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct 1:1 nursing care to a student, addressing daily medical needs as outlined in their care plan
• Administer medications, treatments, and monitor overall health status throughout the school day and during transportation
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of care provided
• Communicate effectively with school personnel, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated support
• Respond to health emergencies and promote a safe environment
