We’re searching for a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide essential 1:1 support and healthcare for students from 1st through 5th grades, as well as those in 9th and 10th grade. Key Qualities and Experience:
- Current RN license (Massachusetts)
- Prior experience in pediatric or school nursing, especially 1:1 settings
- Ability to adapt care for multiple age levels, from elementary to high school
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, faculty, and guardians
- Commitment to student advocacy and well-being
- Detail-oriented approach and reliable documentation abilities
- CPR/BLS certification
Key Duties:
- Provide 1:1 care to designated students, following individualized health plans
- Administer daily medications and necessary medical interventions
- Respond to immediate health concerns or emergencies with professionalism and calm
- Maintain accurate health records and reports in compliance with school and state regulations
- Educate students and staff about basic health practices and disease prevention
- Serve as a trusted resource for faculty and parents regarding student health needs
- Monitor and promote a safe, health-conscious environment throughout the school day
