Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license in Michigan
• Prior nursing experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong assessment and clinical skills

• Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver health care services, such as administering medications, first aid, and health screenings
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic health concerns
• Monitor and respond to medical emergencies, minor injuries, or sudden illnesses during school hours
• Promote good health practices through education and outreach within the school community
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families regarding students’ health needs
