School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Carpenter, Wyoming

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric care preferred
• Excellent assessment and triage skills
• Effective communication with students, parents, and school staff

• Strong organizational skills and adaptability

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first aid, emergency care, and routine health assessments to students and staff
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic conditions
• Dispense medications and monitor for side effects or reactions
• Maintain accurate health records in compliance with confidentiality standards
• Educate students and staff on health topics and preventive care
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed
• Promote public health initiatives within the school environment
