Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license is required
• Previous experience as a school nurse or in a school healthcare setting
• Strong skills conducting health, vision, and hearing screenings
• Proficient in medication administration and documentation
• Experience managing diabetic care among students
• Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform health screenings, including vision and hearing, for a large and diverse student body
• Manage daily medication administration and maintain accurate health records
• Provide diabetic care and other chronic condition management as required
• Respond to student health needs and emergencies in a timely manner
• Collaborate with two other LPNs to deliver coordinated care
• Educate students and staff on preventative healthcare practices
