School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Casper, Wyoming

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wyoming, or eligibility to obtain
• Prior experience as a nurse in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Strong assessment, triage, and emergency care skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
• Current CPR/BLS certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students and staff, managing both acute and chronic health conditions
• Develop and implement individualized health plans for students with medical needs
• Administer medications and necessary treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records and documentation
• Collaborate with school administration, teachers, and families to support student well-being
• Educate students and staff on health topics, disease prevention, and wellness
• Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations
