Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming (or compact state)
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting highly preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Organization and adaptability to manage busy school health requirements

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students and respond to health emergencies
• Administer medication and treatments in alignment with physician orders and school policies
• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions and develop individual healthcare plans
• Maintain up-to-date health records and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Serve as a health resource for students, families, and school staff
• Promote a healthy, safe school environment through education and preventive programming
