Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active RN license in Wyoming (or eligibility for licensure)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and healthcare professionals
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Commitment to upholding safety, confidentiality, and professionalism in all situations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response
- Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic health needs
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to promote student health and wellness
- Maintain accurate records of services, treatments, and health screenings in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Educate students and staff on health topics and preventive measures
- Respond swiftly and efficiently to medical situations throughout the school campus
