School Registered Nurse (RN) in Champaign, IL

We are seeking two full-time RNs or LPNs to provide crucial care and oversight at elementary and middle school levels. Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN or LPN license in Illinois (unencumbered)
• Background in school nursing, pediatrics, or related field preferred
• Familiarity with legal aspects of nursing and adherence to confidentiality standards
• Experience assessing and supporting children ages 5–14
• Effective communicator with students, staff, and families
• Ability to manage health care plans, medication, and emergencies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing services to elementary and middle school students
• Conduct health assessments, maintain records, and manage medication administration
• Respond promptly to injuries, illnesses, and emergencies during school hours
• Collaborate with school staff to support individualized health or emergency care plans
• Promote wellness through education and preventive health strategies
• Ensure compliance with state and school health policies
