Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license in Tennessee (or compact state eligibility)
• Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Previous nursing experience in a pediatric, school, or community health setting preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in working with school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, treatments, and first aid in accordance with physician instructions and school policies
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records and documentation
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate care as needed
• Educate students and staff on health practices, prevention, and wellness
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student well-being
• Participate in development of health-related policies, programs, and emergency response plans
