This contract opportunity calls for a dedicated RN with experience or interest in working within school settings, providing care, support, and medical guidance for students and staff.

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• BLS/CPR certification (current)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication abilities
• Comfortable collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt and respond effectively to changing needs or emergencies
• Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and special education support a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care for illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions
• Administer medications and monitor students with acute or complex health needs
• Manage and update student health records in compliance with privacy guidelines
• Develop, implement, and evaluate Individualized Healthcare Plans
• Act as a resource for health education and promotion within the school
• Provide input to IEP teams and participate in meetings as appropriate
• Respond promptly to emergencies and support crisis intervention protocols
• Liaise with families, external care providers, and community resources
• Maintain clear, compassionate communication with all stakeholders
