This contract role offers the unique opportunity to work closely as a one-on-one Registered Nurse (RN) for the entirety of the upcoming school year, beginning August 24th. Situated near Union or Fenton, MO, this position is ideal for compassionate RNs looking to make a direct impact on a child’s well-being and educational journey.
You’ll work with a dedicated team and experienced leadership, with the option to serve full-time as a paraprofessional or part-time strictly in the RN capacity. The primary responsibility involves supporting an elementary-aged child throughout the first half of the school day, ensuring their safety, health, and comfort.
What you bring:
- Current and valid RN license in Missouri
- Prior pediatric nursing experience, especially within a school setting, is highly valued
- Ability to perform one-on-one care for medically fragile children
- Adaptable and empathetic demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work either full-time (RN Para) or part-time (RN only) as needed
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to one elementary student
- Support the student’s medical needs and daily routines throughout the school day (first half only)
