School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) | Cheyenne, Wyoming

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current RN license, valid in the state of Wyoming (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
• Prior experience in school nursing or pediatric care strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of common childhood illnesses, medication administration, and chronic condition management
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and staff
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly in stressful situations
• Current CPR and First Aid certification

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions
• Administer prescribed medications in accordance with school policies
• Provide health assessments and screenings
• Collaborate closely with educators, families, and allied health professionals
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Participate in IEP/504 meetings as a medical resource
• Serve as a health advocate, promoting wellness and educating on preventative strategies
