Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Illinois (required)
• Previous experience in a school nursing or pediatric nursing setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to respond to emergencies and administer first aid when needed
• Compassionate approach to working with children, families, and staff
• Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary educational team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health care and triage for students and staff
• Manage chronic health conditions and administer prescribed medications
• Conduct screenings (vision, hearing, etc.) and maintain detailed health records
• Respond promptly to health emergencies and implement care as needed
• Promote wellness programs and health education initiatives throughout the school
• Serve as a resource on health-related issues for faculty and families
