Key Qualifications:

• Valid and unencumbered RN license
• Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to handle urgent situations calmly and efficiently
• Understanding of IEP/504 plan implementation is an advantage
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Adaptable, compassionate, and eager to collaborate with students, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to student health needs, first aid, and emergency situations during school hours
• Administer medication, manage chronic conditions, and perform necessary health procedures
• Maintain accurate student health records in compliance with privacy protocols
• Educate students and staff on topics such as hygiene, prevention, and wellness
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to support individualized health plans
• Ensure compliance with state and federal school health regulations
• Participate in health screenings and contribute to district wellness initiatives
