Registered Nurse School Setting - Chicago, IL

Qualifications:

• Current RN or LPN/LVN license in Illinois
• Recent experience in a school, pediatric, or 1:1 setting
• Expertise in monitoring medical conditions and responding to emergencies
• Excellent communication abilities for collaboration with staff and families
• Ability to maintain accurate medical documentation and confidentiality

Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 nursing support tailored to the Pre-K student’s individualized health plan
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document the student’s health status throughout the school day
• Provide first aid and respond promptly to health concerns or emergencies
• Act as a supportive liaison between the student, family, and educational staff
• Foster a nurturing environment that helps the student thrive in school activities
