School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - 2026-2027 School Year

School Registered Nurse (RN) – Chicago, IL

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, on-site school-based position in Chicago, Illinois. This RN will support students across two school campuses during the school week.

Position Details:

• Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
• On-site position
• Serve approximately 500 students at each campus
• Split responsibilities between two Chicago campuses
• Candidates must be comfortable commuting between both locations

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois RN license
• Recent school-based nursing experience is required
• Experience providing nursing care to school-aged students
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Responsibilities may include:

• Providing routine and emergency nursing care to students
• Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Managing student health plans and medical documentation
• Responding to injuries, illnesses, and other health concerns
• Communicating with parents/guardians regarding student health needs
• Supporting school health and safety procedures
