Travel School RN in Chicago, IL

A full-time Certified School Nurse (CSN) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Chicago, IL. This role involves providing professional nursing care within a school setting, supporting student health and wellness, and promoting a safe and healthy environment. This is a travel assignment, offering the opportunity to work within the Chicago area schools throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and health assessments to students
• Develop and implement individualized healthcare plans
• Manage chronic conditions and administer medications as prescribed
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student health
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate health records
• Promote health education and preventive care within the school community

Preferred Qualifications:

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification
• Experience working in a school nursing environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Bilingual Spanish skills preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Commitment to student health and safety
