A full-time position for a Certified School Nurse is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Cicero, IL. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services within an educational setting, supporting students’ health and well-being throughout the academic year.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering comprehensive nursing care to students in accordance with school health policies.
• Managing and maintaining accurate health records and documentation.
• Administering medications and treatments as authorized.
• Conducting health assessments and screenings.
• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to develop individualized health plans.
• Providing health education and promoting wellness initiatives.
• Responding to emergencies and providing first aid as needed.

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Certification as a School Nurse (CSN) required.
• Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual Spanish language skills are preferred but not required.
