Key Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted RN license required
- Substantial recent experience working in a school nursing role
- Strong ability to handle multiple priorities between two campus locations in Chicago
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Confidence working independently as an on-site RN
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care to students and staff on-site at both assigned campuses
- Manage urgent and routine health needs, including triage, medication administration, and health screenings
- Provide health education and guidance to students and staff
- Maintain confidential and accurate health records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and district partners to promote a safe and healthy school environment
- Travel between both designated campus locations as needed; comfort with commute is essential
