Registered Nurse School Setting in Claremont, NH

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in New Hampshire
• Previous experience supporting child or adolescent health (school nursing highly valued)
• Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of best practices in medication administration and emergency care
• Ability to manage a variety of health concerns with calm, confident decision-making
• Demonstrated professionalism, confidentiality, and clear communication with students, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Serve as a key health resource for students and staff throughout the school day
• Administer medications, monitor chronic conditions (such as diabetes or asthma), and provide first aid as needed
• Maintain detailed, accurate health records in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Partner with teachers and administration to ensure all students’ health and safety needs are addressed
• Promote wellness, prevention, and healthy habits throughout the school community
• Respond effectively to health-related emergencies and coordinate care as necessary
