School Registered Nurse (RN) in Clayville, RI

As a Registered Nurse, you'll make a meaningful impact by ensuring safety, comfort, and continuous care for a child with diverse medical needs.

What You'll Bring:

• Current, active RN license
• Experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Confidence in providing care for complex needs, including ventilator support, G-tube management, skin integrity, and brittle bone conditions
• Ability to work compassionately with nonverbal students—this child communicates with an iPad
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Professionalism and commitment to patient dignity

Key Responsibilities:

• Ride to and from school on the bus with the student, ensuring medical safety
• Remain with the student throughout the school day, addressing medical needs as required
• Administer medications, tube feedings, and monitor respiratory support
• Support mobility and transfers with attention to fragile bones
• Maintain accurate and detailed nursing documentation
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to provide an inclusive and supportive environment
