Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric health concerns, immunizations, and emergency response
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and faculty
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct healthcare to students and staff, including first aid, chronic disease management, and medication administration
• Conduct health screenings and maintain accurate student health records
• Respond to injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies within the school setting
• Promote healthy habits through education and participation in school wellness initiatives
• Serve as a liaison between school, families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care
• Ensure compliance with state and federal health regulations
