Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current RN license in Tennessee (or eligible for reciprocal licensure)
• Prior experience in school nursing, pediatrics, or a similar clinical setting preferred
• Strong assessment and triage skills
• CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Confidence working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct care and first aid for student illnesses and injuries
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for side effects
• Develop and implement care plans for students with chronic health concerns
• Act as a health resource for students, families, and school staff
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation
• Identify and address potential public health issues within the school community
• Participate in IEP meetings as needed and ensure compliance with state guidelines
