Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Prior nursing experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings preferred
• Solid understanding of school health procedures, IHPs, and medication administration
• Skilled in emergency response and first aid protocols
• Exceptional communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Adaptable; able to thrive in dynamic and diverse school environments
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Primary Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine health assessments for students, such as vision/hearing screenings
• Administer prescribed medications and perform minor treatment as needed
• Develop, implement, and update individualized healthcare plans (IHPs)
• Deliver first aid and emergency care in accordance with school policies
• Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and wellness best practices
• Liaise with families, educators, and external care providers to coordinate student care
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation per regulations
