School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Conyers, Georgia

This contract assignment runs through May 21, 2027, and is ideal for RN or LPN professionals seeking a predictable, part-time schedule with meaningful community involvement. You’ll be working in-person, four hours each week on Wednesdays—with potential to increase your time based on program growth and success.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience

• Active Georgia RN or LPN license (required)
• Prior experience in pediatrics or school nursing setting highly preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Ability to manage a safe and caring environment for students of various ages
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and staff

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care for students with a variety of health needs
• Assess, plan, and implement health services in support of learning and attendance
• Provide immediate care in response to illness, injury, or medical emergencies
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments as needed
• Maintain confidential and accurate health records
• Collaborate with school personnel to advocate for student health
