1:1 School Nurse (Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse)

Schedule: 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM, School Days

Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled 1:1 School Nurse to support a pre school student in a school setting. This role requires specialized experience in tracheostomy care and a dedication to providing individualized health support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for a 1:1 student, including tracheostomy care.

• Assist with feeding and toileting as needed.

• Monitor the student’s health and respond to any medical needs throughout the school day.

• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.

• Proven experience in tracheostomy care.

• Comfort and experience with feeding and toileting support.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work one-on-one with young children.

Compensation:

• Pay rate: $40–$50/hour depending on experience.
