A Substitute Onsite Registered Nurse (RN) position is available for a contract role supporting a 1-to-1 caseload with a preschool student in a school setting. This opportunity is located in Red Wing, Minnesota, and offers flexible on-call or PRN assignments to cover contractor or district staff absences, call-outs, or no-shows.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care and health monitoring to a preschool student in a 1:1 setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and documented.
• Utilize clinical skills to assess and respond to student health needs promptly.
• Collaborate with school staff to promote a safe and healthy environment.
• Document nursing care and communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers.
• Be available on short notice to fill in for regular nursing staff when needed.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience working as a school nurse preferred.
