Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Rhode Island
- Previous experience in school settings or pediatric care strongly preferred
- Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to student medical needs
- Proficient in health screenings, medication administration, and documentation
- Effective communicator with students, parents, and school staff
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Responsibilities & Daily Duties:
- Provide direct care for students requiring medical attention throughout the school day
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Manage health records, documenting visits, interventions, and outcomes as required
- Conduct routine health screenings and communicate findings appropriately
- Collaborate with educators and administrative staff regarding student health plans and emergencies
- Support public health initiatives and promote wellness within the school community
