School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Covington, Georgia

Seeking a skilled and caring Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential nursing support within a school environment on a contract basis. You will work in a supportive and collaborative setting, contributing to the well-being and academic success of students. What We’re Looking For:

• Current and valid RN or LPN license in Georgia
• Previous experience with pediatric patients, preferably in a school nursing role
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with children
• Comfortable maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters with professionalism

Role Highlights:

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff on-site each Wednesday (4 hours per week)
• Perform routine health assessments, medication administration, and emergency response
• Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student health needs and individualized plans
• Maintain accurate records of care and assist with state-mandated screenings when appropriate
• Opportunity to expand hours to a second day per week based on program success and needs

• Start date is immediate and assignment continues through May 21, 2027
