Qualifications

• Active and current Pennsylvania Registered Nursing license (required)
• Experience as an RN in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Comfort working with adolescent populations (grades 7–12)
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills
• Ability to assess, triage, and manage student health concerns
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff during school hours
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized health plans
• Administer medications and manage students’ chronic medical needs
• Educate students and staff on wellness, disease prevention, and injury management
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records per school protocol
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ educational and health goals
