Registered Nurse School Setting - Danville, PA

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting a vibrant PreK–3rd grade school community. This position is geared toward a dedicated Registered Nurse passionate about working in a school setting. You’ll make a meaningful impact while collaborating with educators and families to foster a healthy learning environment for approximately 500 young students. The assignment begins September 8th and runs through October 8th, with the possibility of extension through the school year following a successful initial period.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license; Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential required
• Experience working with early childhood populations (PreK–3rd grade) is highly desirable
• Prior school nursing strongly preferred
• Ability to manage health programs and respond effectively in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to child welfare, safety, and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care, first aid, and medication administration to preschool and primary-aged students
• Support individualized health plans and emergency responses
• Maintain accurate health records for up to 500 children
• Serve as a point of contact for student health issues and collaborate with families and staff
• Promote health education and preventive care within the school
• Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies
