Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • Previous experience with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred
  • Confidence in providing comprehensive 1:1 care to children with varied medical needs
  • Strong communication abilities to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to maintain accurate patient records and follow individualized care plans
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine interest in student well-being
  • Compliance with standard safety and confidentiality protocols

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care for assigned students during the school day
  • Implement care plans as prescribed by physicians and in coordination with school staff
  • Administer medications and monitor for changes in health status
  • Provide medical support during classroom activities, recess, and field trips as needed
  • Serve as a resource for staff and students regarding health and wellness topics
  • Communicate updates on student progress to families and clinical supervisors
