This contract position seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide dedicated 1:1 care within an engaging educational environment. Working closely with elementary and high school students, you’ll help ensure health and safety so students can thrive academically and personally.

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver skilled, compassionate 1:1 nursing care to assigned students (grades 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 10)
  • Monitor chronic and acute medical conditions, administer medications, and respond to emergency health needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and guardians to support student success
  • Provide age-appropriate health education and support to students
  • Maintain accurate health records while respecting confidentiality
  • Communicate effectively with families, staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Adapt quickly to varied clinical situations in a school setting

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Pediatric experience, particularly in school settings, highly preferred
  • Experience providing 1:1 nursing care, ideally to children or adolescents
  • Strong assessment, judgment, and advocacy skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • CPR certification and proficiency with emergency response
