Registered Nurse School Setting - Dedham, MA

A school-based nursing position is available in Dedham, MA, offering a contract opportunity with immediate start through June 22nd. This role requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with previous experience working in a school setting. Candidates with diabetic care experience are highly preferred due to the needs of several students managing diabetes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general nursing care and health support to students
• Manage and monitor student health plans, including diabetic care as necessary
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Stay on-site throughout the school day, with a 45-minute lunch break
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure student wellness and safety

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with demonstrated school nursing experience
• Knowledge and experience in managing diabetic care is a significant advantage
• Ability to remain in the building during work hours from 7:30am to 2:30pm
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, 35 hours per week
• Work hours: 7:30am to 2:30pm, including a 45-minute lunch
• Position located in Dedham, MA
