Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, active RN license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or similar nursing environment preferred
• Ability to assess, triage, and respond to routine and urgent student health needs
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers
• Strong organizational abilities, with familiarity in maintaining accurate student health records
• CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily nursing care for high school students, addressing injuries, illnesses, and ongoing health conditions
• Support medication administration and health care plans for students with chronic conditions
• Manage documentation and maintain confidential health records in accordance with school guidelines
• Respond quickly and calmly to emergencies or urgent student health concerns
• Educate students and staff on good health practices and preventive care
• Serve as a liaison between families, school staff, and outside healthcare providers as needed
