Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Pediatric nursing experience, preferably with school-aged children
- Prior experience providing 1:1 direct care
- Confidence working with students in 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 9th, and 10th grades
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and adapt to varied student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1:1 medical care and support throughout the school day in a classroom setting
- Administer medications and perform medical procedures as needed for individual students
- Monitor and document health status; respond to emergencies and communicate promptly with designated contacts
- Collaborate with teachers, aides, and other school staff to ensure the seamless integration of healthcare plans
- Provide routine education to students and staff on health and wellness topics
- Maintain accurate, confidential health records and comply with relevant regulations
