School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Denver, Colorado

An experienced Registered Nurse is sought for a full-time, contract position serving a K–12 caseload across five walkable school sites near Denver, CO. Key Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Professional Special Services – School Nurse License required
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
• Background working with K–12 student populations preferred
• Comfortable managing a caseload spanning multiple schools
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Experience training staff in CPR, First Aid, and Delegation of Duties is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee and address the health needs of students across all five assigned school locations
• Provide health assessments, develop care plans, and respond to emergencies
• Administer medications and maintain accurate health records in compliance with district policies
• Deliver staff training on CPR, First Aid, and appropriate health-related procedures, including Delegation of Duties
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and district leaders for comprehensive student support
• Travel between closely situated schools, all within easy walking distance
