A rewarding travel nursing opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated healthcare support in a school transportation setting based in Depew, NY. This role focuses on ensuring the safety and well-being of a student with a seizure disorder during bus rides, offering a unique blend of healthcare and educational environment support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 nursing care and monitoring for a student with a seizure disorder on school transportation.
  • Monitor the student for seizure symptoms and respond promptly when necessary.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment during bus rides.
  • Collaborate with school staff and transportation personnel to maintain effective communication regarding the student’s health.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RN licensure with certification suitable for school health nursing.
  • Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred.
  • Ability to work split shifts: mornings from 6:45 AM to 8:45 AM and afternoons from 12:45 PM to 3:45 PM, Monday through Friday.
  • Strong observation skills and comfort with providing one-on-one care during bus transport.

  • Position involves travel to and from school bus routes within Depew, NY.
