School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Des Plaines, Illinois

A full-time Certified School Nurse (CSN) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Des Plaines, IL. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services within a supportive school environment, contributing to the well-being and academic success of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to students, including health assessments, screenings, and management of chronic conditions
• Develop and implement individualized health plans and emergency care plans
• Respond to student health needs and emergencies promptly and efficiently
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote student health and safety
• Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and local regulations

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with certification as a Certified School Nurse (CSN)
• Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Bilingual Spanish skills are preferred but not required, enhancing communication with a diverse student population
