Key qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric/nursing care preferred
• Ability to work independently across multiple sites, demonstrating flexibility and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with staff, students, and families
• Commitment to confidentiality, safety, and fostering a nurturing environment for students

Primary responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled nursing care to students in accordance with individualized health and emergency care plans
• Oversee medication administration and maintain detailed health records
• Provide acute care for illness and injuries that arise during the school day
• Drop into both designated school locations as required, ensuring responsive and consistent coverage
• Collaborate with staff and parents to address student health concerns and support overall well-being
• Uphold state and district policies related to school health services
